Laura works primarily in the area of Economic Development, specifically with the Microenterprise Assistance Grant Programs, as well as other community development programs.  Laura graduated from East Carolina University with a BS Degree in Hospitality Management with a minor in Business Marketing. She comes to Thoma with a diverse work background, including customer relations and experience with Low Income Tax Credit Housing in the City of Cortland.  For Microenterprise Assistance Programs, she is responsible for qualifying Microenterprise program applicants, preparing project summaries for Microenterprise committee members, coordinating and processing funding drawdowns, completing financial reports, and ensuring proper maintenance of program records and applicant files.
