Town of Cortlandville
| The Town of Cortlandville is located in Cortland County and totally encircles the City of Cortland. It is the County's largest municipality with respect to land area and has the second largest population. The Town was originally founded as an agricultural community. Its topography is relatively flat, with rich soils. The City of Cortland is almost totally built out and this has resulted in development pressures for the Town. Despite a lagging economy in Cortland County, Cortlandville continues to be a bright spot for economic and residential development. |  |
