Bethann Gray
Bethann joined Thoma in 2000 after receiving an A. A. S. degree in Office Administration from the State University of New York at Alfred. Bethann, a native of Cortland County, New York, assists in the preparation of grant applications, strategic plans, and other various studies. She is responsible for the coordination of surveys and data research related to grant development and planning studies. Bethann incorporates her knowledge of graphic design into Thoma's graphic presentations, including maps, printed documents, marketing materials, and PowerPoint presentations. She is also responsible for the design and layout of our company newsletter, Thoma's Developments. Bethann is also certified as a homeownership counselor through the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation.

Richard Cunningham, CMSM

Rich Cunningham
Rich has been with Thoma since 1995. He has a B.F.A. degree from Syracuse University, has completed Masters level work at the University of Vermont, and is a Certified Main Street Manager through the National Trust for Historic Preservation. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Cortland Program. Prior to joining us, he was the Executive Director of PRIDE of Ticonderoga, a non-profit Rural Preservation Company in northeastern New York. Rich is involved in grant development and planning projects, with particular experience in the areas of housing, downtown and waterfront revitalization, and historic preservation. He also has experience in housing rehabilitation and construction management.

Ann Hotchkin

Ann Hotchkin
Ann has been a Thoma team member since 1987. A long-time Cortland resident, Ann originally moved here to attend the State University of New York at Cortland, where she earned a B.A. degree. She has considerable experience working with many of our customers in developing community projects and writing successful grant applications for such projects as housing rehabilitation, public facilities, downtown facade programs, and park improvements, to name a few. Ann also assists in feasibility and planning studies, comprehensive plans, and environmental review requirements. She is the editor of Thoma's Developments, our company newsletter. She has been a member of the Cortland County Planning Board since 2001 and is currently the vice-chair.

Monica Williams

A native of Cortland, Monica joined Thoma in 2008. After graduating from Cortland High School, she received an Associates degree from Tompkins Cortland Community College in 2003 and a Bachelors degree in English from SUNY Oneonta in 2005. She assists in the preparation of grant applications, comprehensive plans, and other various studies, as well as performing general office duties.
